MMNA Quarterly Meeting

During the business portion of the meeting, we’ll select a nominating committee for elections later this year.  Ray Wade will also share a short video that the Carolina Nature Photographers created about the Monarch Butterfly.  After the business portion, Matt Johnson, the Director of Bird Conservation and Engagement at Audubon Francis Beidler Forest is our guest speaker.  He’ll talk about some of the various projects they have going on around their property, and maybe some of the other Audubon properties around SC.    Here’s some additional information about Beidler Forest:  http://sc.audubon.org/visit/beidler.

Our meeting location is a new place for us:  Palmetto Outdoors is letting us use a meeting space they have at no cost to thank us for some assistance we have provided with their work and in support of future partnership on events.  The location is near Riverbanks Zoo.  Turn onto Candi Lane and the building is a short distance down the road on your left.
