Adopt a Stream Monitoring

 You are invited to join us on the 13^th for a “practice session,” where we can all refresh our skills and review procedures.

 To make sure everyone gets hands-on experience with our two test kits, two sessions are planned, one at 10:00 AM and one at 1:00 PM, both on the 13^th. Each session can accommodate four people. We will meet behind the Forest Lake Gardens plant nursery near the corner of Forest Drive and Trenholm Rd. and do our sampling a short walk from there at the confluence of Eight Mile Creek and Gills Creek. At this site we can sample both creeks and begin to sort out the influence of the Eight Mile Creek tributary on water quality in Gills Creek.

 Please let us know if you can join us for the occasion and which time you prefer. If neither time on the 13th works for you, we can also look at working in an additional session on Wednesday the 12^th at 5:00 PM. We will confirm details closer to the time.
