Welcome to the NEW Midlands Master Naturalist Association website! PLEASE JOIN so that we can help you get the most out of your naturalist journey.
"As every naturalist knows, we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.
We are connected in a myriad of ways with the world of nature."
- Rudy Mancke
Who we are:
The Midlands Master Naturalist Association is a not-for-profit operation, made up of graduates of the Midlands class of the South Carolina Master Naturalist program, coordinated by Clemson University, and hosted by the South Carolina Wildlife Federation. Graduates of other chapters of the Master Naturalist Program within the state are also welcome to join.
Why we're here:
Our purpose is to promote awareness and citizen stewardship for South Carolina's natural resources through science-based education and community service.
What we do:
We will also communicate opportunities for continuing education and volunteering.
We provide monthly meetings and/or outings to amazing locations around the state to give our members the chance to spend some time in the field with their like-minded peers.
